If it seems
as if failure comes at every turn, then it’s time to find God’s way.
September’s Awakening, Day 4
Failure
doesn’t mean that you are a failure; it does mean you haven’t yet succeeded.
Failure
doesn’t mean that you have accomplished nothing; it does mean you have learned
something.
Failure
doesn’t mean that you have been a fool; it does mean you have a lot of faith.
Failure
doesn’t mean that you have been disgraced; it does mean you were willing to try.
Failure
doesn’t mean you don’t have it; it does
mean you have to do something in a different way.
Failure
doesn’t mean you are inferior; it does
mean you are not perfect.
Failure
doesn’t mean you’ve wasted your life; it does mean you have a reason to start afresh.
Failure
doesn’t mean you should give up; it does
mean you must try harder.
Failure
doesn’t mean you will never make it; it does mean it will take a little longer.
Failure
doesn’t mean God has abandoned you; it does mean God has a better way.

Therefore,
in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if
their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from
God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves
fighting against God.” Acts 5:38–39 NIV
Man’s
ways may succeed or they may fail. But assuredly, God’s way will never fail.
Oftentimes, it takes some time and deep searching of the things of God to truly
find His better way. We must pray, seek, search, and be diligent when we
discover His way. Sometimes, His way may appear counterintuitive, but
nevertheless, His ways are much higher than our ways and He has all the pieces
of the puzzle, while we just see a few. If it seems like failure is at every
door, then it’s time to rethink your ways and make His better way the way you
next go.
