"No
condemnation," means eternal assurance for those who believe in Christ,
that there is no sin, nothing, that could ever separate them from His love and
heaven itself. Yet, always be thankful and penitent and live like He lived.
Live by your spirit and His Spirit within you.
July's Message, Day 23:
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who
are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who
gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was
powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his
own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he
condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law
might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according
to the Spirit. Romans 8:1-4 NIV
Every
believer should have those two words always in their heart: "no
condemnation." Christ perfectly fulfilled the law of the Ten Commandments
and was our spotless sacrifice to forever take our place, and being our atonement
for sin, redeemed us from the penalty of all sin. There is no condemnation and
no sin unforgiven for those who call Christ their Lord and Savior. Be assured,
without guilt or shame, that all your sins are forgiven, past, present, and
future, and nothing can separate you from His love and ever keep you out of
heaven. With that said, that fact doesn't give us a license to sin, but we as
thankful believers are expected to live lives pleasing to Him. We are to be
repentant and always striving to be mirror images of His life example. But
always remember, regardless of what you may have learned or been told,
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ
Jesus." You have His eternal assurance.
