Truth
stands eternal. You can discount it, discredit it, or flatly deny it, but in
the end, there it still is. What will you do with it?
October’s Awakening, Day
6:
The
truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. Ignorance may deride it. But
in the end, there it is.
-Winston Churchill
The primary object in life should not
be about one’s ego or status; the drive should be to struggle over truth so
that we can know Him on a deeper level.
-Dr. A. G. Walp, “Resurrection (Fact or
Fiction)”
In the end, truth remains. It
matters not if we’ve disbelieved it, undermined it, criticized it, or blatantly
rejected it, truth is not going away, nor can it ever be extinguished. We
cannot make truth conform to us, we must conform to truth. We must know it,
understand it, believe in it, trust in it, and follow it throughout our lives.
Make it your life’s goal to search
for it deeply, find it, and embrace it. Do you know the truth? Are you
earnestly seeking it, or are you simply avoiding it? One day you will have to
confront it head-on. Is your spirit ready?
