For
Sunday: Not only has He chosen you and
destined you to be His, He is with you and wants to interact with you every
step of the way. On this road of life, it’s good to know where you came from,
but never stay living there. He has a whole new wonderful future waiting to
unfold moment by moment before you.
August's Message, Day 7: For Sunday
The
contemplation of the deep mysteries and awe of God is a worthy endeavor. Even
better is knowing that our loving God has you near and dear to His heart, and
He'll never forsake you or leave you.
Day 1:
“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all
the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the
left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law
always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful
to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be
discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:7-9 NIV
Day 2:
You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of
life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions,
sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra,
the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. In fact,
everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being
deceived. 2 Timothy 3:10-13 NIV
Day 3:
So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters
is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the
one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to
their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field,
God’s building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise
builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with
care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which
is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:7-11
NIV
Day 4:
Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves
to those who by nature are not gods. But now that you know God—or rather are
known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable
forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? Galatians 4:8-9 NIV
Day 5:
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing
in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy
and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship
through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise
of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him
we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance
with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and
understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his
good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the
times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on
earth under Christ.
Ephesians
1:3-10 NIV
Day 6:
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined
according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the
purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in
Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ
when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you
believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is
a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are
God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:11-14 NIV
The Divine
Whisper confirms that you are His. He knows the path of your life. Let Him
guide you in the way, moment by moment.
